When you are looking for a computer, there a number of things you should consider.

If a number of people will be using the computer, let’s say to watch programs, go for a bigger monitor. To save space on the computer desk, opt for a flat-panel LCD display.

Graphic designers and video editors may prefer high definition monitors. These cost more but their output is worth the price.

You should also consider the screen resolution of the monitor. Usually, larger screens have higher resolutions and provide better quality graphics output.

If you will be spending much of your time in front of the monitor, go for a larger screen monitor. This will prevent your eyes from straining. Also, larger monitors are better if you usually open many windows while working.

Finally, the monitor should be mobile. You should be able to adjust it vertically, horizontally or tilt it forwards or backwards.
